Summer may be almost over but we are not willing to give up on it yet. In honor of the muggy temps, and sunshine this week’s recipe in Hawaiian inspired.
1 oz Captain Morgan White Rum
1 oz Malibu Rum
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz coconut cream
2 oz strawberry
Prepare in a blender
Blend the 2 rums and the strawberries (fresh or frozen) in a blender until smooth and pour into a tall glass.
Blend the banana, the coconut cream, and the pineapple juice in the blender with crushed ice until smooth.
Pour this mixture into the glass with the rums very slowly and watch as the strawberry mixture oozes its way to the top along the sides of the glass creating the flowing lava effect. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
